WEEKDAY COURSES
The weekday courses runs for 6 weeks with each class being 4 hours long.
TERM 3
Term 3 will commence on Tuesday 27th July 2010
Tuesday 27th July to 31st August. (9.30 am to 1.30pm)
Wednesday 28th July to 1st September. (9.30 am to 1.30pm)
TERM 4
Term 4 will commence on Tuesday 2nd November 2010
Tuesday 2nd November to 7th December. (9.30 am to 1.30pm)
Wednesday 3rd November to 8th December. (9.30 am to 1.30pm)
WORKSHOPS
Workshops are 2 days long. Some run on a Saturday and Sunday, others running on consecutive (generally) Sundays. Each day the classes start at 10.00am and finish at 5.00pm with an hours lunch break.

WINTER WARMER - INTRODUCTION TO ENAMELLING
A hot workshop for cool days. For 4 days, chase those winter blues away!
Friday 18th to Monday 21st June 2010
This is a BEGINNERS workshop that will introduce you to two forms of enamelling. You will do 2 days of Sifting and Stenciling then 2 days of Cloisonné enamelling.
WINTER WARMER - CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL
Another hot workshop for cool days. for 4 days, find some colour and inspiration in the depths of winter - Friday 16th to Monday 19th July.
This is an ADVANCED workshop for those who have done some enamelling. We will use the first 2 days for etching silver and preparing it for enamelling. The next 2 days we will be enamelling.
If you want to do this workshop, get in contact with me as soon as you decide as I will give you more information about the processes and we will need to make some plans re designs.
If you have also done one of my etching workshops, you may like to prepare some etched silver in advance and get even more work done.
JEWELLERY BITES
NEW PROGRAMME - At the beginning of each term in 2010, the studio will run a two day Saturday and Sunday workshop to enable those who cannot make it during the week to enjoy a regular class at the studio. As you learn, you will be able to join in some of the technique specific workshops that also run on many weekends.
Each day the classes start at 10.00am and finish at 5.00pm with an hours lunch break.
COURSE COSTS
The 6 week term is $360.00. Tools and some materials are supplied; in the Beginners class, silver costs are an additional cost of approximately $25.00 depending on current metals prices. If more silver is required for special projects, additional materials can be purchased by the students directly from the suppliers. Material costs for advanced classes will vary with individual projects.
2 day Workshops are generally $200.00 with additional charges for materials and metals depending on the technique being taught. If required a “Materials” fee will be noted in the “Course Information”
